My sister’s first born is celebrating her first birthday today and we all have prepared a beautiful and grand party for her. It was a Barbie themed party and all the moms and their babies wore pink Barbie costumes and dresses. The party was fun with all the kids running around, walking, crying and enjoying the food and games.

My husband doesn’t comment much on how I decorate our home but my newly installed designer vertical blinds got even his attention. When he came in from work, I saw him looking at the front windows as he walked from his car to the front door. When he entered the house, he turned immediately to the windows, smiled and said, “I like.” From him, that is glorious and high praise. But then again, what’s not to like? My Grandma has now become more frail with her older age but still loves to cook.
