The other day I was riding the bus and I saw a new business. I ride the bus twice a week to work, so I know every business we pass. This one had to have opened in the middle of the week. It wasn’t there Tuesday when I went in. So, I pulled out my cell phone and opened up my favorite online Phone book. I had the name, I just needed a bit more information about it. Unfortunately, they are so new that only their phone number is online. No on has left any comments about them. I guess I’ll have to stop by on my way home next week.

I am so impressed with this program that my son uses it twice a day. During the day we have a set time we will put the phonics software into the computer and do a couple lessons. But at night time, he wants to do it again. By all means, I let him. It’s like he is interested in reviewing it at night to make sure he does not forget anything. Usually by about 10 minutes after he has finished reviewing, he is falling or has fallen asleep. I like that he looks forward to learning no matter when it is. As long as he’s learning.

I loved all of the presents I got in the mail today! It so wonderful when people tell you thanks. The thank you gifts came after twenty five years with the company. I was excited to see everything and how well package the stuff was. It made my day. My wife helped me to unwrap everything and we are thrilled with the quality of the gifts. I am pretty confident with my math skills until it comes to fractions. Then all of a sudden my mind is like a blank slate and I can figure out how to start. Obviously I do not know the first thing about fractions or I would not be so scared. So now I am looking for a fraction math worksheets that I can just practice and practice on until my anxiety over this subject subsides. I know that once I understand it will be a lot easier but until I practice a lot I just know I will not pass this part of the class.

My husband was badly hurt in a car accident last year, and I suddenly found myself to be the only breadwinner for the foreseeable future. Fortunately, I had attended dental assisting school right out of high school so I had some skills to fall back on. When we started having children, we both agreed that I would stay home with them, but with my husband’s accident, the tables have turned. Now I get up and leave to got o work, and he gets the kids off to school and waits for them to come home. It is an unplanned turn of events, but at least I have had the training to be able to make it work.
