It Shouldn’t be a Problem
The house that we have lived in for nine years has just been put on the market by the owners. Because of the situation, they had us do all the disclosure paperwork, which has been really interesting. It’s an older house- about thirty years and it was built pretty piece-meal, so there are issues. For example, the roof shingles are an asbestos tile. Now, I don’t think any new owner will be contacting mesothelioma lawyers or anything. Unless they go up there and start banging on the tiles everything should stay right where it should be. I think the main concern is always air born.
