What causes Gout

The deposition of uric acid as crystals in joints is the primary cause of Gout. Those crystals create an inflammatory response that creates the extreme pain that those clients experiencing with gout.  When the uric acid is too high in the blood circulation then this uric acid gets crystallized in the joints. When the kidneys fails to do its function then it can no longer excrete the uric acid it will go through the blood circulation that’s why there will be a high uric acid content in the blood.  Uric acid is produced from purines that are normally taken in as part of the diet. Gout mainly affects the big toe joint of the foot and is easily diagnosed as the joint is usually hot, swollen and red. Once the initial attack is over, then the cause needs to be found.
