Getting the Best Deal on Shoes for Kids

When running my household, I have to weigh each purchase on it’s value to my family. Nowhere is this more true than things I buy specifically for my kids. For example, is it worth the money to buy featured shoes at a mall store? I’ve heard arguments on both ends of this question. The one side insists that the name brands are better made and with withstand the wear and tear of children much better. The flip side points out that for the premium price, an economy brand can be replaced numerous times. I imagine that there’s merit to both arguments. It seems that most parents generally settle this based on social standards in their children’s schools. Luckily, my own children don’t care about things like that and we generally settle for cheaper. They grow so fast that they generally outgrow most shoes before they ruin them.
