Moroccan Economy
The country of Morocco is located in the North of Africa. It has a population of about 32 million people, and borders Algeria and Spain. Casablanca is the main Morocco port city, as well as being the largest city, although Rabat is the actual capital city. Morocco’s economy is a growing one, with the agricultural sector being a significant contributor. Although the unpredictability of rainfall can cause this industry to fluctuate unpredictably from year to year. Textile and clothing are among the leading Moroccan exports, and also account for a large part of the workforce in the country, and is an area which the government hopes to increase.
