A third appeal in a Lupus Disability claim
If the ALJ denies your lupus disability claim, you have a chance to appeal for the third time before the Appeals Council. There have been times when a claimant received a favorable decision; however, they did not agree with the actual date that the Judge declared the person became disabled. A claimant has the right to bring this before the Appeals Council as well.
It is suggested that a person hires a lawyer who specializes in Lupus Disabilityclaims to handle the case. They can actually bring a person’s case to the council. If for some reason you lose the third appeal, you have an opportunity to present your case if before the Federal District Court. Claimants, however, usually do not come to this point.
