Fishing for a Big Catch
I have always heard about what it is like to catch a large tarpon. These fish can be caught mostly in the spring and early summer. Some of my friends have caught tarpon around one hundred pounds, and I wanted to experience this type of fight. When I decided to go flamingo fishing for tarpon in that area, I hired an experienced fishing guide to take me out on the water. Captain Brian had me set up to catch fish, and an hour into my fishing day, I had on a big fish. It felt like nothing I have ever had on in the past. After fighting the fish for an hour, I was able to catch a one hundred six pound tarpon.
