Faith needs to be fed
I absolutely love the teaching in the Book of Mormon that faith needs to be nourished. This is taught in the book of Alma. Just like a seed, faith needs to be nourished. And you can’t water a seed once. Once it becomes a plant, you can’t ever stop taking care of it. Faith can also wither and die if it is not nourished through daily care through scripture study, prayer, meditation, and keeping the commandments is also important so the Spirit can dwell with us. The Book of Mormon really hits the nail on the head with so many things. Anything worthwhile needs daily care to survive.
